The 2009 Songdog Ride May 1-3, 2009 The S. F. Northstars Motorcycle Club & Friends We are going to Songdog the first weekend in May. Ride in on Friday and camp for two nights. Friday will be the tri-tip dinner, and Saturday will be the Songdog stew and fresh baked bread. Breakfast both mornings included also. Many great So-Cal. riding options are available on Saturday. Hwy-33 south to Ojai is a sweet piece of heaven. You can ride the canyon roads above Malibu and have lunch at the Rock Store on Mulholland Drive. There are some fun paved and adventure loops through the mountains. Also dirtbike riding in the Ballinger Canyon OHV area just past camp. As with our private Songdog events in the past, we will define a shooting area behind the lodge. Bring your guns and ear plugs for a little target practice before dinner each evening. There will be an ice chest stocked with sodas & beers with a donation jar on top. Most Songdoggies bring their favorite Tequila or two! Remember, TWO nights! Camping Information The rustic lodge will be available for those who wish to be indoors. 4"-thick sleeping pads (included w reg. fee, while supplies last!) will be available on a first registered, first served basis. Bring your own sleeping bags and tents. The outhouse is to the left of the lodge with a great view. There is a small room in the lodge with a cold-water-only shower.
