By the time our President of Vice,
the honorable Patrick Lydon, realized it was going to be his
show for the evening, he was busy stuffing his face with dinner. He promptly called
the meeting to order before it got too dark outside. The word steward finally
remembered to bring a copy of the minutes to the meeting to be read & approved.
However, Mr. Vice didn't remember to ask for the minutes to be read though, so we're still
batting a thousand; we haven't approved no stinkin' minutes all year! With anarchy being the theme of the evening, we sorta jumped around to various topics in the following order... The Old Highway-40 Days Hillclimb event, coming August 15-16, was discussed. Mr. Vice instructed the word steward to contact René and get the condo info into the newsletter before that weekend. Since, for a variety of problems, this didn't actually occur, Mr. Vice did send an email message out to some folks telling them where to find the condo. Next we introduce the numerous guests, many who were or are becoming regulars; including Steve Demopoulos & his lovely hairdresser, Dawn. She currently owns a GPz550 & an SV650 and I believe she said she was racing one or both or something like that. Then the discussion turned to membership requirements & where several of our guests were with respect to completing said requirements. |

July 28th Meeting Members: Mark Anderson, Mike Chaplin, Pat Lydon, Alan Macias, Earl Minkler, Patrick Moriarty, John Mulvihill, Jim Patt, Allan Paul, Steve Schurman, Pete Silva, Pete Slote, Gary Thomas, & lurking out front when the meeting ended was Larry "I was only a little late" Gardini.
